Welcome!

Welcome! I'm glad you found your way here. Spirit guides and ascended masters have been teaching me for over 25 years. It has been an educational, joyous and fulfilling journey. It's time to share it with you.

I am not doing this for fame or financial gain. My aim is solely to serve humanity and the Divine by listening, writing it down, and making it available to guide and inspire you. That is the sum total of my calling and my ambition.

I think there are people who need this. If you like what you see, please spread the word. If you find something you want to share, post a small portion and a link to the blog page from which it came. The URL for the article will pop up in your navigation bar when you click on the title. Cut and paste as needed. Spreading the word is the very best way to thank me and my sources.

There is enough material here to give you a lot to ponder; most of it is timeless. I encourage you to dig into the archives and see what speaks to you today.

Thank you for coming by. Know that the moment you made contact here, love and blessings have started flowing your way, from me, and from my many contacts. Even if you cannot hear them, they can hear you, so speak to them freely and know you are heard and understood. You never know, you just might get a reply!

Junk Food For The Soul

What are you feeding yourself these days?

We're not talking about food, though quality matters there, too.  What are you feeding your eyes, your ears, your mind?

The latest scandals?  The current atrocities in the news?  Tales of horror and abuse, of violence and destruction?  Exactly how does this benefit you?

When you bombard yourself with negativity over and over, it has to have an effect on you, and it does.  It drags you down to a more negative outlook on your own life and environs.

Regarding the news, there are things you need to know, and things you don't.  There are things you can and should do something about, things you can't, and things that aren't your business.  Can you begin to tell the difference?

Some things take on an enhanced aura of importance simply because of the horrified fascination they engender.  Is this really a measure of a news item's importance?  Of course not.

If you read your newspaper carefully, you'll often find that, tucked in a back page, is often a story that is really of more import than the ones on the front page.  Why?  Because they want to sell more newspapers.  Or, in a similar vein, the TV news people want to attract more visitors to their news show.  They want to hook you and drag you in, not for your good, but to make more money.

They are no longer about disseminating information, or informing the public about real news.  Far from it.  News has become entertainment because entertainment sells.

But - and here's our news for you - you don't have to buy it!   You don't have to marinate yourself in it to be informed.  Choose wisely and expose yourself sparingly.

These same principles hold true for your choices of amusement and entertainment.  Let them not taint you.  If they are not uplifting, put them down and look elsewhere.  You can do better, and it will be better for you if you do.

What you expose yourself to, hours at a time, matters.  Your spongelike soul and psyche soak it up, and it alters you little by little, bit by bit, and you may not even feel it happening.

You don't want to drown yourself in waste material when there is clear, sparkling water to enjoy splashing in.

Make the same sort of choices for the rest of your life.  There is plenty for you to see and do that is positive and not deleterious to your well-being and healthy outlook, and still amusing or fun.  Think about it.

We love and bless you this day.  That's good news, isn't it?

Namaste.

  1. I'm very limited in the news and media as I find it negative, thoughtless, and full of scandal. I used to be a news junkie as I frequented many web sites, watched several tv channels, etc but those days are gone. Blogs such as yours are generally what I read as a positive inspiring message will be dispensed. Newspapers are certainly negativity magnets and guess that's why I reach for the crossword puzzle first if one is purchased :) Keep feeding me uplifting messages as they are much appreciated!!!!

  2. I'll try to keep it coming, David. This is truly experimental for me, as I don't know from one day to the next what will happen, or what they will choose to talk about. My job is to listen and either record it on a voice recorder or write it down. And not to get too depressed by the news to be able to do it, I'm thinking.
