Welcome!

Welcome! I'm glad you found your way here. Spirit guides and ascended masters have been teaching me for over 25 years. It has been an educational, joyous and fulfilling journey. It's time to share it with you.

I am not doing this for fame or financial gain. My aim is solely to serve humanity and the Divine by listening, writing it down, and making it available to guide and inspire you. That is the sum total of my calling and my ambition.

I think there are people who need this. If you like what you see, please spread the word. If you find something you want to share, post a small portion and a link to the blog page from which it came. The URL for the article will pop up in your navigation bar when you click on the title. Cut and paste as needed. Spreading the word is the very best way to thank me and my sources.

There is enough material here to give you a lot to ponder; most of it is timeless. I encourage you to dig into the archives and see what speaks to you today.

Thank you for coming by. Know that the moment you made contact here, love and blessings have started flowing your way, from me, and from my many contacts. Even if you cannot hear them, they can hear you, so speak to them freely and know you are heard and understood. You never know, you just might get a reply!

One Trick Ponies

Hello.  We are here to talk with you.

Q: Who are you?

A: Names mean nothing.  We come in answer to your call, your need.
------------
I see a merry-go-round.  Painted horses, going up and down, around and around.  They go nowhere, and yet they give pleasure.  This is the extent of their life.  They ask for nothing more, they wish for nothing more.

For some, it is all they were meant to do, the simple life, all they were meant to be, and they are fine with that.  But there are others who look at the sky and want to soar with the birds.  The see the birds in flight and just know, deep in their most private and sacred selves, that they were meant to be there, too.

Are they crazy?  Are they mad to think such a thing?  Why to they have this longing, this drive, when their brother has none?

Because, deep within each person is a kernel of memory, of knowledge about themselves and their destiny.  Sometimes that kernel slumbers unawakened, and sometimes it takes a nap.  Sometimes all it wants is the simple life.  Sometimes it won't be satisfied with less than glory.  Everyone has a dream, but some dreams are simpler, more basic than others.  No less sacred, just more basic.  There is beauty in the simple and the plain.

Sometimes a soul remembers/knows practically from infancy where its pleasure and satisfaction lie, and sometimes it takes a lifetime of experimentation to discover its joy.  Only that soul will know and recognize the key when it is found.

There is a reason that there are so many different kinds of people out there, so many different types of souls.  God's creativity is infinite.  The patterns you weave as you explore, and bloom, and interact, are a never-ending fascination and diversion.

It is up to each of you to find and nurture that tiny seed within you, that is you.  It is up to you to honor that seed and not tamp it down and ignore it in the name of duty, or conformity, or acceptance, or popularity.

You are not one trick ponies, but there is a trick or two that will make you light up and glow.  Honoring this is honoring yourself.  Honoring yourself, and your fellow beings in search, is honoring God.

Fulfillment and meaning make it all worthwhile.  So, let's help each other and encourage each other on our paths of self-discovery.  Whether you stay tethered to the carousel, or take off in flight with the bats (you thought I was going to say birds, didn't you!), or any other cockamamie scheme, as long as it nourishes and grows that seed, call it good.

Do what you need to do to make it work.  Sharpen your wits, hone those talents, carve your own pony if you must, but follow that inner prompting and you won't be sorry you did.

We love and bless you on this day.  Enjoy your journey--and watch out for the road signs!

Sayonara.

  1. Nice post, love the message. We should all thrive to follow our own path regardless of what society thinks of us but whatever we choose to do, do it to the best of our ability. I'm certainly watching out for road signs :)

  2. I've written about this very topic several times in my own blog. Interesting how everything circles around. I knew from an early age that I'd be involved somehow some way with books. Spent my early years 12 onward writing; short stories, novels, news articles etc. ALWAYS carrying a book around with me.

Didn't get much support on the homefront when I mentioned aspirations. Ya know what, though? I persevered! Wasn't about to let anyone tell me what I was meant to do.

Guess where I'm working now? I'm in the book field. EXACTLY where I knew I'd be. My soul yearned to be with books and I for one was going to do EVERYTHING I could do to satisfy it.

There are too many people who incarnated and don't follow their bliss, don't follow their soul's life work. They do what someone else tells them to do because it will earn them more money, as if money is what will make you happy. I understand that it's more important to enjoy what you do and make a little less money then make money hand over fist and be miserable. I couldn't be happier with where I work today and I wouldn't want it any other way. Each of our incarnations here are so short isn't it more important to follow your bliss? Isn't it more important to follow your soul's path? For me it is.

Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
    Blessings to you.

  3. David, thank you for telling me. The feedback rally helps, because I can't always tell if what I'm getting is "good" or not. Your comment helps me to know I'm on the right track.

    Blessings,
    Orea

  4. Chris, the way I look at it is that there is only one of each of us. If we try to be someone else, who will be us? It's like distorting the original artwork that we are. Then, how will the piece that is you, or me, fit into the vast puzzle that is the Whole?

It will be a beautiful day when each person embraces and achieves their individual perfection of expression and celebrates it.

My cats seem to do that already, now that I think about it! And so does our dog. We, who tend to think of our species as so superior, are the ones lagging behind. I never thought of that before...

    Blessings,
    Orea
