Welcome!

Welcome! I'm glad you found your way here. Spirit guides and ascended masters have been teaching me for over 25 years. It has been an educational, joyous and fulfilling journey. It's time to share it with you.

I am not doing this for fame or financial gain. My aim is solely to serve humanity and the Divine by listening, writing it down, and making it available to guide and inspire you. That is the sum total of my calling and my ambition.

I think there are people who need this. If you like what you see, please spread the word. If you find something you want to share, post a small portion and a link to the blog page from which it came. The URL for the article will pop up in your navigation bar when you click on the title. Cut and paste as needed. Spreading the word is the very best way to thank me and my sources.

There is enough material here to give you a lot to ponder; most of it is timeless. I encourage you to dig into the archives and see what speaks to you today.

Thank you for coming by. Know that the moment you made contact here, love and blessings have started flowing your way, from me, and from my many contacts. Even if you cannot hear them, they can hear you, so speak to them freely and know you are heard and understood. You never know, you just might get a reply!

Resistance is Futile!

How you handle your everyday events matters hugely.  For most, it's natural to find things you dislike and push them away.  Bad move.

Pushing things away, contrarily, draws them closer.  The energy you invest in the pushing, actually goes into making that thing, whatever it may be, stronger.
"I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there."
Mother Teresa
The rejected item, or concept, or person may seem to go away, but it will be back in another guise, offering you the opportunity once again to accept it, love it, transform it.  For, as we have noted, love is the only way to truly transmute and transform.   Only love has this power and capability.

It's like there is this invisible rubber band attached to the object of your dislike, so that the harder you shove it, the harder it snaps back in your direction.

Remember when Jesus spoke of turning the other cheek?  Many probably thought him mad.  Remember the ultimate success of Gandhi's passive resistance?  Now you know the reason why, the underlying foundation of their thinking process.

How can you apply this to your life?  Spend less time hating the enemy or the opposing political party.  Spend less time judging spouses, coworkers, celebrities.  If it is too repugnant, turn your face and thoughts away from the offense.  Think of something else, or find a different, more positive aspect to focus your mind upon.

Use your feeling as your guide.  Does that thought make you tense up, clench your muscles, grit your teeth?  Do you want to slap or punch or even kill someone?  Do you feel despair or want to cry?  These are signals that you are looking the wrong place.

If your thoughts or entertainment choice or reading material makes you feel calm relaxed, happy, at peace, you are on the right track.

We aren't saying you need to agree with everyone and everything.  Of course not.  And you shouldn't.  But you can support your beliefs and your political leanings from your calm and loving center without resorting to hostility and hatred and inner ugliness.

Even the idiots have a right to their opinion!  (grin) And that right should be respected, even if the opinion itself is not.

As this political season rolls around, remember:  The politician you hate the most passionately (as a group) is ironically the one most likely to be elected.  In these days of high emotion, that is something to think about.

We love and embrace you.

Namaste

  1. Hi Orea:
So true. Didn't understand this until I studied Law of Attraction. If we push something or someone out of our life, that same personality will return in the form of another person showing up at some point.

That's why so many people wind up w/partners so much like their original family. Since we spend so much time w/our family of origin it's only natural that we seek out what we know. Unfortunately, for many of us, when we choose life partners based on what we know we wind up realizing our mistake and either live w/it or we move on. If we decide to move on, we sometimes build a wall that no one can scale then we wind up alone when there is probably someone standing right beside you and you can't see it because your wall is so big.

Tear down the walls. Start seeing the love. Like you said, turn your face away. Look for the positive. Pivot.
