When you have to do something you really would rather not do, but you have no real choice, be cheerful about it, and brave if necessary. Don't moan and groan and complain and feel sorry for yourself.
You know how they say there is always someone worse off than you? It's true, and usually there are many who are in far worse straits than you are. Consider yourself lucky it isn't worse. Really.
If you are reading this on a computer, for you are way ahead of much of the world. If you are reading, period, you are lucky, indeed, especially if you are a woman. If it's a medical or dental procedure in question, remember that there are many who need it but don't have access to the help they need. You get the idea.
If you enter the arena, whatever it may be, with a good and positive attitude, trusting and thanking God for whatever you can think of to be thankful for, asking for assistance beforehand for your perceived challenges ahead, you are well on the way to handling things well and getting off relatively lightly. No guarantees, because life is full of unexpected twists and turns, but your odds improve greatly.
Be cheerful. Make it go as pleasantly as you can. Be gracious and friendly as appropriate, and as possible. It will bless you as well as everyone you happen to come into contact with, and your life will be a little more fun to live.
We love and bless you this day.
Namaste.
Great words to live by as I encounter roadblocks on the path of life. It's so true that a pleasant cheerful attitude will infect those around us so keep smiling and laughing. So many times in the past when a difficult task arose I complained and displayed a negative attitude but I've learned to get it over with but with a smile upon my face. We are very lucky indeed in this country so we shouldn't complain too much. Blessings!!
