Happy For No Reason

"When you're Happy for No Reason, you bring happiness to your outer experiences rather than trying to extract happiness from them. You don't need to manipulate the world around you to try to make yourself happy. You live from happiness, rather than for happiness."
- Marci Shimoff, is a motivational speaker and author. This quote comes from her book "Happy For No Reason".

  1. Great message as we proceed down life's road, folks think I'm crazy and wacko as I sometimes laugh and giggle for absolutely no reason. They inquire "If I'm high?' and I respond "I'm high on life" lol. It's a good way to approach life and while it's hard on some days, that the way I should tackle everyday. Positive vibes coming your way!! :)

  2. Ah, David, you are one wise dude.

You just reminded me of a teacher I had in junior high, who said something to me about people who laugh for no reason at all. He was a good guy, and I think he was teasing me.

You are right, nobody questions you if you walk around frowning all the time, but be happy for no apparent reason, and it's a different story, isn't it.

I wish more people knew that you don't need all those recreational substances to get pretty darn happy. That's how we were meant to be! Every breath we take is a gift. We are surrounded by miracles at every turn. There is so much to celebrate!

    Love,
